Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces (340 g) asparagus woody ends removed
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil divided
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning blend
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Arrange the asparagus on a small rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with 2 teaspoons oil and sprinkle the seasoning blend over. Toss to combine.
  • Heat the Blackstone or other outdoor griddle to medium. Brush the remaining 2 teaspoons oil on the surface of the griddle.
  • Add the asparagus to the hot griddle in a single layer and cook, stirring frequently, until it's bright green and crisp tender, 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Serve hot, with lemon wedges for squeezing over.

Notes

    • Size matters--The cooking time will be dependent on the thickness of your asparagus spears. Thin ones will cook quickly, in about 3 minutes, while very thick ones may take up to 5 minutes.
    • Dietary--This griddled asparagus recipe is suitable for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan diets.
