This trail mix without nuts is easy to make in just 5 minutes with only a handful of everyday ingredients. It's perfect for camping, hiking, snacking, or kids lunch boxes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • ½ cup spiced pepitas
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Stir gently to thoroughly combine the trail mix.

Notes

  • Storage--Store your trail mix in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
  • Dietary--This healthy nut-free trail mix recipe is suitable for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan diets, but make sure that the chocolate chips you are using are dairy-free and vegan if necessary. I recommend Enjoy Life brand if this is a concern for you.
