Set up your grill for rotisserie cooking and preheat the grill to 400°F (200°C).
Rub the roast all over with the bbq rub.
Thread the roast onto the rotisserie and attach it to the motor. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium rare, about 1 hour. (If your roast is larger or smaller, cook for about 15 minutes per pound.)
Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before removing the rotisserie prongs and skewer. Thinly slice against the grain.
Notes
Let it rest--Let your meat rest for at least 10 minutes after cooking before you slice. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the roast, ensuring juicy, tender slices.
No rotisserie?--Follow the instructions, cooking the roast over low direct heat, rotating it 90 degrees every 15 minutes.
