Ingredients

  • 4 waffle cones
  • 4 jumbo marshmallows
  • 32 mini marshmallows
  • 32 honey Teddy Grahams
  • 16 Rolo pieces
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prepare a campfire and let it burn until you have hot coals or a very low flame.
  • Stuff one jumbo marshmallow into the bottom of each cone.
  • To each cone, add 8 mini marshmallows, 8 Teddy Grahams, 4 Rolo pieces, and 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips. I recommend layering or alternating the ingredients as you add them to the cones so that you get a little bit of everything in each bite.
  • Wrap each cone in foil so it's completely enclosed.
  • Place the cone with the taller side of the cone shell down on a grate over the fire and let it cook until the filling is almost melted and gooey, about 10 minutes.
  • Unwrap and enjoy!

Notes

  • Wrapping--Use heavy duty aluminum foil for wrapping your cones, or wrap with a double layer of foil.
  • Cooking temperature--Cook over hot coals or very low flame. If you cook the campfire cones over strong flames, they will burn.
  • How to tell if they're ready--To check for doneness, carefully peel back the foil. The marshmallows and chocolate should be very soft and almost melted. If it's not done, cover and put it back on the grate for a few extra minutes. The cooking time will be dependent on the heat of your fire and the distance your grate is from the heat.
