Grilling chicken wings is quick and easy using this foolproof, low-heat method. Find out how to cook them so that they turn out perfectly golden and crispy every time.
Preheat your grill over medium heat. Clean and oil the grill grate well. Reduce the heat as low as it can go.
Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet and brush each wing with oil. Season well with salt and pepper.
Arrange the wings on the grill surface, evenly spaced apart (they should not be touching.) Cook, with the grill covered, turning every 10 minutes, until the wings are golden, crispy, and cooked through, about 30 minutes total.
Notes
Add some sauce--If you want to add bbq sauce to your chicken, brush it on during the last 5 minutes of cooking. You can increase the heat slightly at this point to help it caramelize.
Dietary--This recipe is suitable for gluten-free and dairy-free diets.
