Fresh fruit, marshmallows, and/or graham crackers for dipping
Instructions
Prepare hot coals in a campfire.
When the coals are hot, fill a saucepan with about 1 inch of water. Set it over the hot coals and bring to a simmer. Alternatively, you can do this on your camp stove over medium-low heat.
Combine the cream and both types of chocolate in a medium bowl.
Set the bowl over the pot of simmering water and let it heat, stirring frequently, until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Serve immediately. with your favorite dippers.
Notes
Storage and reheating--If you've got leftover chocolate fondue (unlikely, I know!), cover it and store in your cooler or fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat over a pot of simmering water, stirring frequently, until smooth and melted.
Dietary--This recipe is suitable for gluten-free diets.
